The need to display I.D has become more prevalent due to the unfortunate increase in crime in public places. Wearing badge lanyards helps meet that requirement, and solves other problems in the process.

Lanyards have been with us for centuries, although in the past they were just leather straps made to hold swords and other important items. Today’s cords are made of durable fabrics, such as polyester and high-quality nylon. They often feature bold text, logos or mascots, and are available in an array of colors. They match uniforms, and make statements. No longer are they bland or strictly utilitarian. In fact, they have many uses.

Another great feature of the badge-carrying neck cord is its ability to hold almost any small item that a person needs on hand. With a variety of attachments available, you can easily carry your keys, USB flash drives, water bottle, badge and other objects while keeping them conveniently out of the way. They also eliminate the need to fumble in purses, pockets or briefcases for those items.

When it comes to marketing, there are many ad streams available. Billboard signs, magazine ads, the airways and more. Another way to get your message, logo or mascot into the world: custom lanyards. Those low-cost cords make marketing effortless even as they perform their basic functions, making life easier for every wearer.

Increasing school spirit or raising funds can be a challenge. Badge lanyards are great for those purposes, too. In fact, many school bookstores sell them to students with the intent to boost school pride, and help raise funds in the process. But schools aren’t the only organizations doing it. Trade shows and charity functions are also on board the neck cord bandwagon.

For security, organization, marketing and more, badge lanyards do the job easily and economically too!
